Abby and Paul Southern Maryland Wedding Snapshot!

Where do I even begin with this wedding? Abby and Paul are such an adorable couple and I was so lucky to have been part of their love story. I was invited to shoot with the lovely Renata of Andrea and Renata Photography. I was able to grab a couple shots of the gorgeous Abby before heading over to shoot the guys.:)

It was kind of adorable how long these guys took to tie the perfect tie!

First looks! Perfection

Studs:)Nailed the J Crew pose!

Loving this barn in the middle of the neighborhood!

Abby… So cute!
Ok, so I should say that these portraits happened in a matter of 15 minutes before the clouds OPENED up! By the way, I love me a bride who has no shoes and wants to sit in the grass!

This next one.. Favorite:)

Again, perfection.

Ceremony time and not a moment too soon – just as Abby got in the car to head to the church, the clouds unleashed!

This ceremony was incredible! The Andrea portion of Andrea and Renata Photography was playing guitar and singing during the ceremony thus why she couldnt shoot the wedding. SO spectacular. Abby’s sis also sang throughout the ceremony and it was simply beautiful!
That shot on the bottom left is a choreographed dance from dirty dancing- they were amazing!

Demetria & Matt Timeless Richmond Wedding

First of all, Merry Christmas!!! Ahhhh the day to celebrate with family and friends! It is the time to share traditions, love, & happiness. AND today, I am so excited to share with you the very special wedding of Matt and Demetria from 17 November 2012.

For the past year, I have watched this family grow in both numbers and love. It’s funny to think I met this amazing couple on the coldest day of the year while they were running a race and I was aimlessly snapping photos in the area. Jen Schnizter, a dear friend of the family, asked if I would be interested in photographing a proposal that was to happen in 15 minutes. The rest is history…  I am not only honored to be Matt and Demetria’s photographer but on that cold day, I had no idea I would gain 2 friends and some seriously awesome memories! So with Jen, an event planner by day, the incredible parents, and this totally sweet couple; a spectacular event was produced. To start, the Bride and her Bridesmaids got ready in a suite just inside the Hotel John Marshall.

There was so much attention to detail – everything from personalized cuff links (made of their childhood photos) and custom handkerchief’s for the moms.

Meanwhile, the guys were down the road trying desperately to figure out how to fold the ‘perfect’ pocket square. Who knew those things came with instruction pamphlets…
Demetria… seriously…. gorgeous
So if you havent noticed, Demetria is pretty hilarious and cracks up constantly – even when going to see Matt for the first time on their wedding day. I just love how much you both love one another and how much fun you have together. SO sweet. After a couple moments – we ran outside to grab a few portraits.

Ceremony time!!!

Ok, so that little cutie batootie below- Yes, Miss Charlie, she was riding in style! And why not have a bag pipe processional? My only question was why didn’t I think of that?:D

MARRIED!:DSo moving on… haha – get it? Ok, bad joke but whatever.:)

So serene.

Ok, I normally dont post the intro shots but this series is just too funny!!!

Toasts!Just look at the way Matt looks at Demetria.

Big Thanks to Shandi Wallace for shooting with me all day and helping me with these next few shots!

Matt jumped up on stage and sang to Demetria! Incredible.

Be sure to check out the lady’s face in the background… I had that same look before realizing I had to sprint across the dance floor to capture this! Rock it out!!!

Andrea & Nick – Fun and Offbeat Wedding Snapshot

How do I even begin to describe this AMAZING day? Andrea and Nick are so incredible. Everything about their special day was a sentimental token of what has brought them together. The best word to describe this amazingly offbeat day is : FUN! Thank you so much Andrea and Nick for letting me be a part of your love story!

The George Washington Hotel was just stunning! The ballrooms were so unique and elegant! What a lovely backdrop for any event!

Andrea, you are just too much fun!

THOSE EYES!!! I DIE!

The ceremony is unlike any other I’ve seen. Their vows were not only perfectly unique, but they exchanged hand crafted knives as opposed to rings. Just incredible!

MARRIED!!!!:D

This had to have been one of the best November days to date… The weather was perfect and allowed us a ton of time outside to get bridal party shots and super sweet portrait time with the lovely bride and groom.

So, to go along with the most amazing venue, there was an old train station just down the street which is where the whole bridal party met to have some fun.

Rock it out ladies! Love this!

Annnndddd the men… Rough tough and all about that tractor! LOVE that y’all just  owned it!
